Description
Friday, November 21 • 7 PM • BKCM Concert Hall, 58 7th Ave, Brooklyn
The Folk Music Society of New York is thrilled to present Grosse Isle in concert at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music. Grosse Isle was born out of the “absolutely magical” collaboration between three exceptional musicians from Quebec and Ireland. (The Irish Music Magazine).
Together, Sophie Lavoie (fiddle, piano, vocals), François-Félix Roy (Aldor Emerging Artist Award winner for guitar, podorhythmie) and Fiachra O’Regan (All Ireland Champion on uilleann pipes, whistle, banjo & vocals) shine with their rich and enveloping music.
This concert has been sponsored by the Délégation générale du Québec à New York.
