BKCM will host free mini-lessons this Sunday at the 46th Annual Atlantic Antic Festival!
Join BKCM on Sunday, October 3, 2021 from 12PM to 6PM for pop-up mini-lessons at the Kid’s Zone, located on Atlantic Avenue between Boerum Place and Smith Street. Come by and try your hand at the tabla, violin and trumpet!

A beloved Brooklyn Conservatory tradition — holiday caroling! Please join us as we spread cheer throughout the neighborhood, culminating in a reception in our garden. Snacks and drinks will be available to purchase in the BKCM Garden as part of a fundraiser for the Brooklyn Conservatory Chorale. All ages, voices, faiths welcome.
To prepare, Brooklyn Conservatory Chorale Director Nick Nicassio will help lead the group in a warm-up from 2pm-2:30pm and then split up to wander and carol from 2:30pm-3:30pm. We will divide into separate groups for family music and for four-part madrigals, so there will be something to sing for everyone! The reception in the BKCM Garden will take place from 3:30 – 4:30pm. The Brooklyn Conservatory of Music hosts a Halloween event for the whole family! Join us outside of our building for a spine-chilling performance from a BKCM faculty string quartet, a haunted musical garden and, of course, candy!
The string quartet will feature Ali Kang and Jennifer Axelson (violins), Brian Thompson (viola) and Jenna Girone-Virgilio (cello).
