The Brooklyn Conservatory Chorale and musical director Nicholas Nicassio present “Heavenward,” a concert of Romantic Era works by Clara Schumann, Johannes Brahms, R. Nathaniel Dett, Franz Liszt, and others.
Now in its 16th season, this dynamic 40+ member choir performs a rich variety of musical styles, both a cappella and with a variety of accompaniment. Conducted by Dr. Nick Nicassio, this ensemble meets on Monday evenings and performs two to three concerts per season for the community. Members develop their vocal technique and musicianship through exciting and vibrant repertoire from the past and present. Singers build essential skills such as singing harmony, sight-singing and expanding vocal range.
