From October to May, 2021, Brooklyn Conservatory of Music will be hosting four programs presented by PhiloSonia. PhiloSonia is an innovative chamber music series designed to create a personal connection between audience members and classical music.
ReCONNECT II: Together will feature performances by Stani Dimitrova (violin), Ani Kalayjian (cello) and Philip Fisher (piano). The evening will feature works by J. Haydn, William Grant Still, Gayane Chebotaryan, Jennifer Higdon, Reena Esmail and Amy Beach. The evening is being presented in collaboration with LYRICA Chamber Music.

- Vaccination Card or Excelsior Pass required to attend
- Children under 12 must present a negative COVID test done within 3 days prior to the event.
- Mask wearing will be required for all audience members throughout the concert.
PhiloSonia: PhiloSonia is an innovative chamber music series designed to create a personal connection between audience members and classical music. Founded by Stanichka Dimitrova, PhiloSonia is inspired by her passion for outreach and connecting to today’s audience. PhiloSonia offers an insight into established and new works from the chamber music repertoire. Through compelling programming and interactive elements listeners are guided through an in-depth exploration of a wide variety of works. Holiday Caroling

A beloved Brooklyn Conservatory tradition — holiday caroling! Please join us as we spread cheer throughout the neighborhood, culminating in a reception in our garden. Snacks and drinks will be available to purchase in the BKCM Garden as part of a fundraiser for the Brooklyn Conservatory Chorale. All ages, voices, faiths welcome.
To prepare, Brooklyn Conservatory Chorale Director Nick Nicassio will help lead the group in a warm-up from 2pm-2:30pm and then split up to wander and carol from 2:30pm-3:30pm. We will divide into separate groups for family music and for four-part madrigals, so there will be something to sing for everyone! The reception in the BKCM Garden will take place from 3:30 – 4:30pm. ReCONNECT I: Opening Night Gala will feature guest ensemble Carr-Petrova Duo, with Molly Carr on viola and Anna Petrova on piano.
