An interactive piano exploration… come play!
Join us for this FREE community event, a festival in celebration of becoming an All-Steinway School and all things pianistic! The Open House will showcase local performers and community members including BKCM faculty and students. You are invited to play, hear, touch and make music on our 19 BRAND NEW STEINWAY PIANOS. Enjoy performances, mini-lessons and activities for all ages. The 6:00pm concert will feature renowned Steinway Artist, Kenny Barron! Bring your friends and family for this exciting celebration!

Performers
Kenny Barron
Kenny Barron is a Jazz Master, Steinway artist and renowned jazz piano pedagogue. In his 50+ year career, he has been an irreplaceable member of the bands of jazz stars like Stan Getz, Dizzy Gillespie and Dave Holland. The Los Angeles Times named him “one of the top jazz pianists in the world” and Jazz Weekly calls him “The most lyrical piano player of our time.” We are honored to welcome him back to the Conservatory for this very intimate performance!

Waitlist information
Waitlist order is determined on a first come, first served basis. BKCM will notify the top 30 people on the waitlist before the event and admit people in the order they were reserved. BKCM does not guarantee entry to the performance to any waitlisted persons. More than 30 people will be admitted if required.
