Suzuki Prospective Family Orientation – March 23

Description

Sunday, March 23 • 5:45-7:15 PM • BKCM Concert Hall

Register here.

Enrollment for the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music’s Suzuki Program happens on an annual basis, and the first step in every new Suzuki family’s is signing up for a required Parent Orientation in the winter of the year before you plan to enroll.

The 90-minute orientation will take place in person in the Conservatory’s Concert Hall at 58 Seventh Ave, Brooklyn. The Suzuki Program director will share some information about the Suzuki philosophy and educational approach, as well as the important and unique role parents play in their children’s progress through the program. Attendees will also be informed of scheduling requirements and what to expect during the first year. There will be a Q&A at the end.

Kids are why we are here! However, this event is only for adults.

The orientation is completely free, but space is limited and registration ahead of time is required. To register, visit our ASAP Connected portal.

After attending an orientation, families will schedule an intake interview and observation days where they get to see Suzuki lessons and group classes in action. In order to be eligible for our program, caregivers must arrive on time and plan to stay for the entire orientation. Registration for the program will start in June.

If you cannot make this time, we also have two other orientations for prospective families this spring, which all run from 5:45-7:15 pm!
