Always a crowd favorite, BKCM’s musical singalongs are back! Join us in belting out your favorite songs from the movie “The Greatest Showman.” Jazz vocalist and BKCM Music Partners faculty member Tahira Clayton will lead the singalong, backed by musicians that performed on the official movie soundtrack. There will be trivia, circus performances, and a raffle featuring prizes from Big Apple Circus, the Trapeze School New York, Vimbly and The Muse Gowanus!
This event is free and open to the public.

One of “New York’s most exciting artists and top new music interpreters”(Broadway World) and a “luminary from the current indie classical scene” (Sequenza 21), pianist Isabelle O’Connell pairs works by Chopin and Schubert with more recent works by living composers George Crumb and Missy Mazzoli, in which the newer works reference the older pieces. O’Connell will also provide a demonstration of the extended piano techniques used to create the sound world in Crumb’s music.
