The Brooklyn Conservatory of Music hosts a Halloween event for the whole family! Join us outside of our building for a spine-chilling performance from a BKCM faculty string quartet, a haunted musical garden and, of course, candy!
The string quartet will feature Ali Kang and Jennifer Axelson (violins), Brian Thompson (viola) and Jenna Girone-Virgilio (cello).

PhiloSonia Concert

From October to May, 2021, Brooklyn Conservatory of Music will be hosting four programs presented by PhiloSonia. PhiloSonia is an innovative chamber music series designed to create a personal connection between audience members and classical music.
ReCONNECT II: Together will feature performances by Stani Dimitrova (violin), Ani Kalayjian (cello) and Philip Fisher (piano). The evening will feature works by J. Haydn, William Grant Still, Gayane Chebotaryan, Jennifer Higdon, Reena Esmail and Amy Beach. The evening is being presented in collaboration with LYRICA Chamber Music.

Park Slope’s beloved Halloween Parade has been canceled for this Saturday, October 30. They will still be doing some of the programming on Sunday, but BKCM Community Brass Band will not be in attendance.

Brooklyn Conservatory of Music is excited to partner again with People’s Theater Project who have performed at our World Refugee Day event for the past two years.

The year is 3050. A group of immigrants have sparked revolution in the Nation, a dystopia where assimilation was forced. Hearing the collective voice of the people, Doña Mañana—one of the revolutionaries and now the first female, Afro-Latina president—and her team set out on a quest to dismantle the system and bring full liberation to the people.
