Dalcroze & the Private Lesson

Saturday February 20, 2016 @ 12:00 pm

$15 - $25

Find new ways to connect with your students and your own musicianship through discovery and experience-based learning using Dalcroze Eurhythmics.

Dalcroze Eurhythmics is a century old living tradition of embodying musical experience. Purposeful, creative movement and improvisation strengthen our personal musicianship, leading us to discover new ways to engage our students and ourselves as musicians, teachers and learners. Each session in this 4 part series will focus on the specific needs of a particular educational environment, beginning with the solo musician in the practice room, and moving out from the intimacy of the private lesson to the challenges of the full classroom.

Dalcroze Workshop Schedule 2016:

April 2, 2016 – 12-3pm:  Dalcroze and small groups.

May 21, 2016 – 12-3pm:  Dalcroze and the classroom.

Each session will be facilitated by Michael Joviala
