Open Stages 2022 — A World of Music Just Outside Your Door
Saturday, May 21, 2022 – 3-7pm
The wait is finally over – BKCM’s FREE spring music festival is back to rock Park Slope once again! On Saturday, May 21 from 3–7pm, Open Stages 2022 will bring people together and spread good vibes throughout the neighborhood in a celebration of community, culture and Brooklyn’s vibrant music scene. Stoops, school lots, parks, gardens and sidewalks host more than 200 musicians throughout the day, including classical musicians, marching bands, kids groups, and so much more.
Proceeds from the event help to support BKCM’s community programs, which bring music education and music therapy to thousands of people across all five boroughs of New York City.

Get your tickets now for Open Stages 2023, BKCM’s spring music festival! On May 13, stoops, schoolyards, parks and local cafes throughout Park Slope will host 150+ inspiring artists sure to amaze families. Past acts have included Grammy Award-winners, talented teen rockers, high-octane marching bands, hip-hop artists, and music-makers of all kinds. And after a day of exploring the festival, families are invited to join BKCM from 7-8 pm for one massive celebratory closing concert.

Outdoors for Autism (Reverend T. Wendell Foster Park, Bronx, NY)

Awesome event alert! On Saturday, June 11, BKCM Music Therapist, Lloyd Miller, will be leading music outdoors for kids and families at Outdoors for Autism from 11am to 2pm. Join the fun and don’t forget to grab a BKCM shaker so you can continue making music at home.
BKCM is excited to be part of this fantastic event, which will also feature programming by includenyc, Special Olympics New York, KEEN New York, Extreme Kids & Crew, Teatro SEA, Shape Up NYC, NYC Parks, New York Public Library, Music for Autism and Children’s Museum of the Arts!

PhiloSonia – ReCONNECT I: Opening Night Gala
Saturday, October 23, 2021 – 7:30pm
From October to May, 2021, Brooklyn Conservatory of Music will be hosting four programs presented by PhiloSonia. PhiloSonia is an innovative chamber music series designed to create a personal connection between audience members and classical music. ReCONNECT I: Opening Night Gala will feature guest ensemble Carr-Petrova Duo, with Molly Carr on viola and Anna Petrova on piano. The performance will feature works by Florence Price, Clara Schumann, Michelle Ross, Henrique Eisenmann, JP Jofre and Amy Beach. For the full program, click here.
