Aguanile Na’ Ma’ is a musical group created out of the necessity of playing Latin music in a free and relaxed way. All the members share a common interest in playing a free form of music. They begin with a traditional Latin form and improvise through each performance. This makes the group present a fresh element without leaving the traditional style.
Nicko Kerilo (vocal); Oriente Lopez (piano); Renato Thoms (bongos); Igor Arias (congas); Reut Regev (trombone); Hensy Perez (bass)
The phrase “aguanile” is Spanish. It’s a combination of the words agua, which means water, with the river name Nile. Na’ Ma’ is a contraction of nada mas which means nothing more. Put together Aguanile Na’ Ma’ means “water, nothing else”.
