Suzuki Celebration and Benefit

Please join the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music for a Suzuki Celebration and Benefit, immediately following the Suzuki String Festival Concert and Piano Solo Recitals!

Family-friendly drinks and dinner will be served, as well as live music and a raffle for a chance to win a “Day in the Life” documentary family photo session with Desiree Walters (see details below)!

This event is FREE, but please consider making a donation. All funds raised will be used to support scholarships, professional development for our faculty, Suzuki credentialing and certification, and performance opportunities for our kids. Thank you for your support!

Suggested donations:

Raffle Details



We are thrilled to raffle off a “Day In the Life” Documentary Family Photo Session with Desiree Walters at this event. Desiree Walters is a Suzuki parent and award-winning professional photographer; her background as a Developmental Psychologist informs the beautiful, intimate everyday moments she captures. Check out some of her work here.

Winner receives:

  • Four hours of candid / documentary family photography
  • A 30-page professional grade, hard cover, printed album
  • This package has a market value of $800.



Winner receives:

  • 12 Bernardaud Dinner Plates: Athos White 26cm with Naxosh design, made in Limoges, France
  • Reignac Vendances Bordeaux Supérieur (2005). Wine: A deep and powerful black plum and stewed cherry flavor with a finish of tea and mocha. Drink before 2019 for best enjoyment.
  • This package has a market value of $500.
