Description

The Brooklyn Conservatory of Music teams up with the League of Young Inventors to create a whole new orchestral sound! Learn about some of music’s greatest inventions throughout history… then make your own. Campers start the day at the League of Young Inventors workshop to learn how sound and materials work together, creating their own original instruments. Halfway through the day, campers trek through the park, discovering a drum circle on the way, and land at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, where they compose their own original music for this new orchestral landscape. No prior music experience is necessary to fully enjoy the composition process.
