Mini-Music Makers II expands upon topics covered in the Fall semester, but new students are welcome to join for Spring! The course is designed for four- to five-year-old children who are ready to be dropped off to learn music independent of a caregiver, but not necessarily ready for focused study on a primary instrument. Students will learn music fundamentals using a combination of the Orff-Schulwerk, Kodaly, and Dalcroze methods by a highly engaging early childhood music instructor. All of these methods enable children to learn music by exploring melody, rhythm and musical characteristics using their voices, instruments, bodies and by participating in games, which is the best way for children to learn at this age.
