Come learn how to combine melodies, words and chords with this fun introduction to songwriting. Students will learn how to generate lyrics that inspire musical choices to bring their ideas to life. An exploration of popular song forms and techniques will help hone songwriting skills. Students work collaboratively to co-compose songs in class as well as develop their own material.

No prior experience in songwriting is necessary, just some experience on your instrument and a willingness to collaborate and experiment. For students looking for something new to explore, this is a great add-on to private lessons.
