Vocalists, string, guitar and mandolin players who have prior experience with Bluegrass or similar music, are invited to join the Wind in the Pines, comprised of students who share a love and passion for bluegrass. Students rehearse as an ensemble, develop a set of repertoire and perform throughout the year at BKCM events, concerts and outside festivals. Students are encouraged to take part in developing arrangements, improvising and furthering their technical skills.

To sign up for an audition for Wind in the Pines, please contact the CMS administrative team at cmsadmin@bkcm.org. If you cannot make the audition date, please contact us and we will arrange an alternate date. ***Students who are beginners in bluegrass are encouraged to join the Bluegrass Jam on Tuesdays at 4:45 pm.

Spring Semester
February 5th – Auditions for New Students
February 12th – June 10th
