Big Bad Brass Band

Dust off your old trombone, saxophone, clarinet, or snare drum! All brass and wind instruments and percussion are welcome, at any level and any age, for BKCM’s community brass band.

Drumming Friends

Young drummers travel the world through rhythm! From South America to the Middle East, students learn proper drum technique, excellent rhythm, listening, and collaboration skills through movement, singing and improvisation.

The Suzuki Method is recognized worldwide as a highly effective approach for teaching children the language of music. Generations of students have begun a lifelong journey of musical enrichment through this approach.

Piano Friends

A fun introduction to the piano, students develop proper piano technique, learn how to read music, create group compositions and perform full ensemble pieces.

Musical Theatre Friends

For our youngest singers, this introduction to classic musical theatre repertoire combines fun music theatre games, music skills, and choreography.

On-Site Music Therapy

In Music Therapy, the developmental, emotional, psychological and social needs of children and adults are addressed through active music-making in a relationship with a music therapist.

Guitar Friends

Ready to learn guitar? Students learn proper guitar technique such as how to play chords, strum, and pick.

Chamber Music

From woodwind and brass ensembles to string quartets and mixed instrument ensembles, our chamber groups are specifically tailored to the interest and skill level of the members. In our chamber program there is something for everyone!

Musical Theatre Workshop

Young performers learn proper singing technique—including breath control, posture, and diction—while exploring classic and contemporary music theatre repertoire.

Adaptive Music Lessons

Children and adults who show an interest in learning to play an instrument, but who need extra support, can benefit from studying with a music educator with a degree in music therapy.
