Ben Lee teaches guitar, bango, bass and ukulele. Born in Switzerland, Ben grew up in Chapel Hill, and he has been teaching at the Conservatory since 2009. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Jazz and Classical Performance from UNC Greensboro. His artistic and musical endeavors outside of teaching include being a member of the surf/punk band The Zolephants, as well as his own project, Baby Copperhead, with string trio, including: Tom Swafford on violin, Jessica Pavone on viola, and Brent Arnold on cello.
