Summer 2023 Private Lessons (CMS and Suzuki)
Summer Private Lesson Registration and Information
Summer term begins on July 5 and ends on August 26, 2023.
Please contact the registration staff at 718-622-3300 to set up lessons with your current teacher or to schedule a trial lesson. Registration for summer private lessons begins on April 18, 2023.
Summer Fees and Promotions
30 Minute Lesson: $81.89 per lesson
45 Minute Lesson: $94.60 per lesson
60 Minute Lesson: $114.11 per lesson
BKCM offers a buy 6 get 1 free promotion in summer. This is a limited offer that may not be available for all teachers and only applies while schedules allow. This promotion is offered per student and cannot be applied across lesson bookings for different students.
Summer Private Lesson Policies
Registration is open throughout the summer. Lessons are generally booked on the same day/time each week, for continuity of schedules. Additional bookings on a separate day/time might be available depending on the teachers’ individual schedules or upon request but are not guaranteed. Once registered, Friday, June 30, 2023 is the final day to make changes to summer lessons, classes and camps.
Current Suzuki program students should plan to take lessons with their current private teacher. If their current teacher is unavailable, we strongly recommend that the student take a minimum of three lessons with another Suzuki teacher, which allows for establishing a rapport that is especially important for younger students. A teacher the child already knows from group classes is an ideal option.
There are no credits, refunds or makeups for private lessons, classes or camps during the summer term.
Summer Trial Lessons
Trial lessons are available for the summer term for new students only. After the trial lesson, students have the option to enroll for the remainder of the summer term. Trial lessons are not available for camps and summer workshops or for private lessons within the Suzuki Program.
BKCM Summer Camp Policies
There are no refunds or credits at BKCM for the Summer term. Students have until June 30, 2023 to request changes to existing summer registrations. Please visit bkcm.org/registration for a complete list of policies on withdrawals and refunds.

Saturday: 9:00am – 3:00pm

Monday through Friday, 9am to 3pm
After-school and Saturday Programs
Six-week sessions from July 5 through August 20 with make-ups the following week.
Music Therapy registration opens June 4-18.
