Al Hoberman

Al Hoberman is a music therapist based in Brooklyn, NY.  Holding a masters degree at New York University, Al has worked for the Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services and Montefiore Medical Center, as well as the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music.  His work has taken him to many different settings and populations, ranging from neonatal to geriatric, special education, and mental health.  He has a special interest in family therapy, and approaches his work from a holistic perspective, taking background, culture, and setting into account with every client.  In addition, Al is the co-founder/musical director of PlaYoga, a yoga class for young children and their parents, and performs as a bassist and guitarist in the New York City area.
