Arda Ural is an executive in Accenture’s Life Sciences Strategy practice in New York. Prior to joining Accenture [ACN], Mr. Ural was a VP Strategic Marketing at Becton Dickinson [BDX] and served as the SVP Marketing & Sales for a start-up biotechnology company Eyetech (later acquired by OSI/Astellas). He started his career with Pfizer [PFE] in Istanbul and subsequently relocated to New York.
He holds BSc & MSc degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Bosporus University and an MBA and PhD from the Marmara University in Istanbul, Turkey in Finance and Strategy.Â He also completed Executive Development Program at Harvard Business School in 2000.
He is a member of the BioNJ Business Development Executive Advisory Committee. Arda is a co-author of several whitepapers and a frequent speaker about biopharmaceutical strategy in industry conferences. He lives in NJ with his wife Chala and two boys Aras (15) and Erman (9), both piano players.
