Bernadette Levandowski

Board Chair

After an MBA from Columbia and a career in the investment industry, Bernadette Levandowski changed direction and earned an MA in teaching English as a Second Language at The New School.  She currently teaches English to adults at the Maura Clarke-Ita Ford Center, a program of Opportunities for a Better Tomorrow, in Bushwick, Brooklyn.  She is a lifelong pianist and currently studies cello at the Conservatory. She lives in Park Slope and has three mostly grown children.
