Lynn Gaffney

Lynn is a Gowanus based architect, leading Lynn Gaffney Architect since 1997 (www.lynngaffney.com).  Her full-service firm is committed to design that is progressive, balanced and sustainable and focuses on single-family residential, restaurants, and nonprofit institutional projects.   Additionally Lynn’s interest in intentional housing has led her to form Cohousing Opportunities Group (www.cohousing.group), an entity initiating and supporting new cohousing neighborhoods in New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey.   Lynn earned her architectural degrees at Pennsylvania State University (BARCH) and Columbia University (MSAAD).

Lynn lives in Park Slope with her husband and young daughter.  Lynn loves being a Suzuki parent to her daughter as she learns classical guitar at the Conservancy.  She is happy to help the Conservancy bring its many music education offerings to more and more New Yorkers each year.  In addition to the Conservancy’s Advisory Council, Lynn serves on the Board of Directors for The Millay Colony of the Arts.
