Kate Victor is a Brooklyn-based singer and multi-instrumentalist from Connecticut. Part of a musical family, she began singing and harmonizing with her three sisters at a very young age and later participated in the local county choir. She later earned her bachelor’s degree in Jazz and Music Education at William Paterson University under the direction of Mulgrew Miller. Since then, she has performed as a singer, cellist, keyboardist, guitarist, and bassist with many NYC-based artists and bands, more recently with Emily Jeanne Brown, Ashni, Katie Martucci, Noshir Mody, and Pink Flamingo Rhythm Revue. In 2022 and 2024, she was a finalist in the American Vocal Traditions Competition in Savannah, Georgia. Kate also writes and performs her own original music and has plans to release an EP in the coming year.
