I started teaching at the conservatory in: 2020

I play and teach: Piano and Voice.

Education: Harvard University, Bachelor of Arts

My other artistic/musical endeavors: I write, arrange, produce and perform music for my own solo project. I am involved in a few projects that involve writing music for theatrical pieces and also do voice work “for hire” (background vocals, audiobooks, etc). I am currently completing my Certificate in Music Production with the Berklee School of Music.

Personal Teaching Statement: Learning to sing or play an instrument is a long process that can and should feel like a journey. My goal is to create the environment and provide the tools and support to make that journey engaging, rewarding and expansive. Technique is a crucial part of how we learn to play and should always be applied in the service of personal expression. Each student has different needs. My job is to try to understand what the student needs, what their objectives are, and then to create a program to allow us to get there.
