Dale’s sultry, edgy voice, married with the razor’s edge lyricism of Mikal Amin, form the perfect union of struggle, striving, love and life. Born in the District of Columbia, and reared in South Carolina, Dale Novella began writing songs at the young, impressionable age of 7 and soon began exploring the world of poetry. As she grew older, her love for words grew. She continued to write through her experiences and sang on A Touch of Faith Gospel Choir, which rounded out her big, brassy voice. Mikal Amin is an international Hip-Hop performer whose career has taken him to five continents and more than eleven countries. In 2016, these two kindred spirits bonded their talents and started the project, “Where the Love is”.
