Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night by the Clementine Players

Description

May 24th, 25th & 26th • 2pm • BKCM Garden

Love is blooming this spring in Illyria (and Brooklyn)!  Director Eike Ross’ take on this timeless Shakespearean romantic comedy highlights its underlying questions of identity, gender nonconformity and queerness, while transporting you directly into your favorite bodice-ripper romance novel series where pirates, mistaken identities and love triangles abound.

This outdoor theater experience will take place in the garden at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music in Park Slope, accessible from the B/Q trains at 7th Ave or the 2/3/4 trains at Grand Army Plaza. The garden is just off the sidewalk, but signage will be posted to lead you directly to your seat.

You’ll be seated comfortably under a tent as the action takes place all around you. The garden is fully wheelchair accessible. Please let us know if we can provide any additional accessibility accommodations for you.

Concessions (beer, wine, soda, water, popcorn) will be available for a small donation.

If you have any questions or issues, please email clementineplayers@gmail.com.
