Jake discovered the field of music therapy as a way to bridge a love of musical creation with his strong desire to facilitate positive impact in community spaces and on a broader scale. Alongside his clinical work, he has been creating and performing original music for many years, and knows personally how critical a role music has played in his life as an anchor to a deeply felt sense of purpose and meaning. Jake is passionate about using the gift of music as a tool to help folks connect more deeply with themselves and the world around them through authentic self-expression and their inner sense of worthiness and belonging through the versatility that music making holds as a vehicle of centering what is essential for our collective navigation of life.
