Caroline Violante is a board certified music therapist working at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music since 2018. She works primarily alongside those in the autism community as well as in early childhood development. After completing her undergraduate at Furman University with her Bachelor of Music in harp performance, Caroline chose to transition into the music therapy field, preferring to focus on the elements of music that provide engagement, connection, and self-expression. She received her Masters of Arts in music therapy from New York University and has remained a music therapist in NYC since. Caroline works in a client-centered and largely improvisatory model, allowing space for her clients to express themselves through musical exploration. She also provides adaptive piano and voice lessons for those wishing to develop specific music skills. Caroline loves music’s ability to foster relationships, inspire creativity, and create joy.
