Christine loves guiding singers of all ages to find their unique voices while building confidence, musicianship, and community.

As a performer, Christine’s career spans opera, musical theatre, jazz, and contemporary music. She is currently part of the new musical The Real Kyle McCarren, which recently sold out Joe’s Pub and features Broadway stars Norbert Leo Butz and Kate Baldwin.

Christine has performed on stages across the country and abroad.  Her diverse credits include appearances at Trinity Wall Street, 54 Below, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Gulf Shore Playhouse, the Westport Country Playhouse, the Quick Center, the Times Center, Virginia Opera, Paper Mill Playhouse, and Goodspeed Opera House.

Whether performing or teaching, Christine brings a deep love of music and theatre to every project. A proud member of Actors’ Equity Association and graduate of Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, she believes that singing is not just about technique, it is about telling stories, connecting with others, and having fun along the way.

Jeffrey Klitz

Jeffrey Klitz is a Yale graduate and highly regarded New York music director, arranger, orchestrator, and composer.

At the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, he is proud to co-direct with his long-time collaborator Christine Cornell the acclaimed Brooklyn Harmonics Vocal Program. With the support of BKCM they have created these tight-harmony vocal groups to promote inclusivity, build community, and bridge divides through unique arrangements of pop hits and original co-writes. Jeff’s songs have been performed in NYC venues from The Bitter End to Carnegie Hall.

On Broadway he served as music director/conductor for Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Guys & Dolls, Hot Feet and Lennon, and conductor and choral arranger for Song and Dance and On Your Toes. Other Broadway credits: Chicago, Grand Hotel and Stardust. He has worked with numerous performers, serving as music director and pianist for Judy Collins, Joel Grey, Betty Buckley, Tommy Tune, Judy Kuhn, Carol Hall and Amanda McBroom, among others. On the acclaimed 92nd Street Y Lyrics and Lyricists series, and Lincoln Center’s American Songbook, he has appeared as music director, and at the Goodman Theatre he music directed The House of Martin Guerre, for which he earned a Joseph Jefferson Award.

His credits as arranger and orchestrator include work with the New York Philharmonic, The Chicago Symphony and Disney, and as producer/arranger with Paul McCartney’s publishing house MPL. He helped found, and was arranger and accompanist for, the New York Metro Mass Choir, an inter-faith gospel choir that performed at The Apollo Theater, Avery Fisher Hall, and Carnegie Hall.
