Adult Program (Age 18+)

To start your application to the Adult Chamber Music Program, fill out the short questionnaire below.

Students from age 9 to 90+ who have experience reading music and performing on piano, strings, woodwinds, brass or voice are invited to join a chamber ensemble at BKCM!

Unlike most chamber music programs, which are selective in who they admit, we offer everyone a chance to be in a group as long as scheduling allows for a good match. However, all new Chamber Music Program students are required to complete a non-competitive audition so that they can be placed in an appropriate ensemble, paired by instrument type, proficiency level and musical interests. While we pay great attention to creating the best possible groups, there may occasionally be differences in levels of experience that are unavoidable.

Yes, financial aid is available for qualifying students. To apply please contact kris.mandapat@bkcm.org and fill out the financial aid application.

If you have questions about the Chamber Music Program, please contact our Program Coordinator Mike Brofman at chambermusic@bkcm.org or call BKCM’s registration desk at 718-622-3300! For complete information on our registration process and policies, please click here.
