Description
Leveled by age, students develop their musical knowledge in a fun, low-pressure group setting. Ear training and rhythmic diction are part of every class. Students learn chords, scales, harmony and melody and musical elements such as key signatures, time signatures and music vocabulary.
We recommend that students have at least 1 year of private lessons and are a minimum of 8 years old before taking a theory class. If you have any questions about our theory offerings, please contact the community music school administrative team at cmsadmin@bkcm.org.
