Description
More than just an introduction to the piano, Piano Friends teaches young students essential music skills from reading notation to positioning their fingers on the keyboard. Each week students explore group ensemble songs which build their rhythmic and listening skills. Interactive games help students motivate each other to advance to the next level. At the end of the term, students participate in a group recital, building confidence and performance skills. Intended for students who are brand new to the piano aged 5-6 years old, the BKCM Piano Friends curriculum is designed to prepare students for private lessons.
