Ring in 2026 and the Lunar New Year as the Brooklyn Conservatory Chorale joins forces with Manhattan’s Litha Symphony for a gala winter concert. The evening features the dramatic intensity of Carl Orff’s world-famous Carmina Burana, a modern setting of medieval songs that contend with age-old themes of the human condition and the swings of fortune. We will pair this work with China’s grandest concert piece, the Yellow River Piano Concerto, to usher in the upcoming Year of the Horse. Together, these works invite a soul-stirring musical journey in honor of renewal, community and the promise of new beginnings.
