Join the Brooklyn Conservatory Community Orchestra for a riotously funny musical adventure for the whole family, with thrilling music from Stravinsky’s Firebird, favorites from Wicked, and more!
Can Lilli rescue her friends Princess Camile and Prince Carlos from their greedy Uncle Kashchei and save the kingdom? She’ll need the help of the magical firebird and a very goofy fairy.
Perfect for kids 4 and up. Rated H for Hilarious.
There are two performances of Lilli and the Firebird on February 28. Kids 2 and under enter for free. Tickets include admission to the Brooklyn Museum.

LORINNE LAMPERT (Director, Lilli) is so thrilled to be back with Dorothy and the BCCO! She’s previously appeared on the Brooklyn Museum stage in Petra and Wolfie (Petra), Haunted!, and narrating Peter and the Wolf (as Fanny Van Orpheum, with the Maestrosities). Select NY theater credits include: The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Rona), The Drowsy Chaperone (Chaperone), The Pajama Game (Gladys), Sweeney Todd (Mrs. Lovett), A Little Night Music (Desiree), Cabaret, Parade, and A Man of No Importance. She also works with medical students in an actor/educator capacity, training new generations of doctors in simulations designed to improve communication with patients. CHRISTINE CORNELL (Christine the Firebird’s fairy) is a soprano soloist whose work spans opera, concert, musical theatre and recording. She most recently appeared at Carnegie hall with The American Symphony Orchestra, performing George Bristow’s Niagara Symphony No. 5, and in the ensemble of Utopia Opera’s production of The Mikado. Additional concert highlights include Bach’s Cantata No. 191, a multi-city tour of Italy with Ghostlight Chorus and an artist residency with the Sound Symphony on Long Island, performing works by Mozart, Lehar, Moore and others. Her recording credits include Erik Carlson’s Slowly Expanding Milton Babbitt (Three Theatrical Songs), several jazz singles with The Justin Rothberg Band, and her film music debut in Alex Weston’s score for What Breaks the Ice. Onstage favorites include The Most Happy Fella (Goodspeed), The Sound of Music (Paper Mill Playhouse and Virginia Opera), Master Class (Gulf Shore Playhouse), Four Saints in Three Acts (BAM), and on tour with Tony Award Winning Actress, Joanna Gleason in her show, Out of the Eclipse. www.christinecornellmusic.com

AKIRA FUKUI (Uncle Koshay) is the former principal violist of the BCCO and thrilled to be performing with them again! Some recent theater credits include: Understudy for Akio/Fumio/Kannushi 3 (The Public), A 24-Decade History of Popular Music (St. Ann’s Warehouse), As You Like It (Oliver), Queen Anne: A New Musical (SheNYC), It’s All About Lorrie (ATA), Chase: What Matters Most (Dixon Place); Graceful Exit (Drama League). ELOISE LEVINE (Princess Camille) is thrilled to appear in the production of Lilli the Firebird! This is her first time working with the Brooklyn Conservatory Community Orchestra and performing at the Brooklyn Museum. Her favorite past roles include middle school productions where she played Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, and also participated in productions of Mean Girls and Matilda. She is a high school freshman majoring in vocal music and is in her second year of the Teen Harmonics group at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music.

FREDDIE STARK (Prince Carlos) is currently a freshman in LaGuardia High School’s drama department, and has been in numerous school shows and performances across the city. Some of their past roles of note include Nick Bottom in “Something Rotten!”, Sky Masterson in “Guys and Dolls”, Prince Oliver in “Between the Lines”, and Nick Piazza in “Fame”. They are excited to be returning for another role as a prince in Brooklyn Museum’s “Lilli and the Firebird” and are so grateful to be a part of this production. Freddie also sings in Brooklyn Harmonics teens and in the jazz club at their school and was recently featured in LaGuardia’s drama cabaret.
