Singing Circle

Description

Friday, November 14 • 7:00 PM • BKCM Concert Hall

BKCM’s Music Therapy Program invites you to an uplifting community singing circle, open to all, led by board-certified music therapist, singer-songwriter, and vocal improviser Kate Richards Geller.

This immersive gathering welcomes singers of all levels to connect through breath, rhythm, and spontaneous vocal creation. Together, we’ll explore how singing can spark joy, release stress, and strengthen community bonds. Rather than focusing on performance, the circle is rooted in process—tapping into our inherent musicality and the healing, transformative power of shared sound.

Kate brings decades of experience in clinical, educational, and community settings, and her signature Sing for Yourself approach demonstrates how a regular singing practice can bring clarity, liberation, and lasting change. Come sing for yourself, with others, and for the collective joy of community. No prior musical experience is needed—just bring your voice and curiosity.
