Led by Bella Carlucci, the Sound Bath is a 90-minute immersive and restorative experience that uses breath and sound to invite therapeutic effects to the mind and body. This sound therapy session begins with guided breathing and vocal toning, activating the parasympathetic nervous system and gently preparing participants for deep listening. As we shift our awareness to our auditory senses, our brain waves slow, activating the glymphatic system—the brain’s mechanism for flushing out toxins and waste.
This is followed by a gradual, continuous, and progressive sequence of tonal centers and harmonic shifts using crystal singing bowls and various other instruments. These harmonic shifts of tension and release help guide us into a deeper state of consciousness, where we not only experience profound relaxation but are also inspired to engage in self-inquiry and self-discovery—restoring the mind and body to a state of oreka.
Ages 16 and up. Participants are encouraged to bring their yoga mats (extra soft mats and blankets will be provided) and to wear loose, comfortable clothing and something warm. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in.
About Bella Carlucci
Bella Carlucci is a sound healer, yoga teacher, and body worker dedicated to supporting others in cultivating a deeper sense of inner harmony.
While spending the past two years in Sydney, Australia, Bella dove headfirst into the world of holistic health, exploring the intersection of movement, sound, and energetics. Her lifelong love of music has led to a rich background as a performer, composer, and recording artist – work grounded in both artistry and care. Through her studies with the Sound Healing Academy, she now harnesses the power of sound to support healing and relaxation.
Now based in New York City, Bella is pursuing a master’s degree in Music Therapy at NYU Steinhardt. She is honored to share her sound healing practice with the BKCM community.
