Description

Students explore music from around the world and experience a range of instruments from the winds, brass, strings and percussion families. Through hands-on demonstrations and guest musicians, students learn how instruments work in preparation for group class and private lesson instruction. Students gain a basic understanding of a range of musical elements such as rhythm, musical patterns, basic notation and singing on pitch.
