Alyssa Muñiz is a Clinical Intern at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music and a senior Music Therapy student at Montclair State University, based in New Jersey.
From a young age, I connected safety and comfort to music and it was often a place of joy, which is what I aim to cultivate with those I musically collaborate with. During the development of my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with children and teens with and without developmental disabilities, along with immigrant youth from South America. I am a musical theatre and classically trained vocalist and performer, and I also play guitar and piano. In my free time, I enjoy yoga, reading and playing my Nintendo Switch. I look forward to continuing to grow both as a person and as a music therapist at BKCM!
