Personal Teaching Statement: I start my students under the Suzuki philosophy and pedagogy. I believe in the power of small steps and breaking up the difficulties into easier, “digestible” bits. I believe in music as a tool to creating social connections and sustaining values, such as excellence, solidarity and inclusion. I seek to educate my students in the way that they develop more refined feelings, appreciation for arts, joy of making music and self-confidence coming from doing things well.
