Camila Ortiz is a songwriter, performer, and sound designer based in Brooklyn. As a solo artist performing as Otracami, she released her debut album, touching the stove coil, in 2023, drawing praise from outlets like Under the RadarWeek in Pop, and Various Small Flames. As a sound designer, her previous projects have included EVERY VOICE, a sound and sculpture exhibit for the LA Philharmonic, KLII, featured by the Public Theater’s Under the Radar Festival (2023) and Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago (2025). She is also one half of Myrtle, a collaboration with vocalist and composer Claire Dickson. Myrtle’s 2020 song “Shifted” was featured by NPR All Songs Considered.
