Damian Quiñones is a Bronx-born, Nuyorican musician, composer, and visual artist whose work is a vibrant fusion of 1960s rock, Nuyorican funk, tropicalia, and Afro-Caribbean rhythms. As the frontman of Damian Quiñones y su Conjunto, he leads a dynamic ensemble known for its eclectic mix of rock, folk, cumbia, reggae, and salsa dura, creating a sound that is both nostalgic and refreshingly original. 

Quiñones is a multi-instrumentalist, adept at guitar, keyboards, harmonica, and the Puerto Rican cuatro. His discography includes four albums, with the latest, Sleight of Hand in the Material Realm (2021), showcasing his talents as a writer, producer, and performer.  His live performances are immersive experiences, often featuring his own hand-drawn stop-motion animations that complement the music’s rich textures.
