Michelle Geisler is a Board-Certified Music Therapist, Neurologic Music Therapist, and Licensed Creative Arts Therapist based in New York City. She brings experience across diverse settings, including public and private schools serving children with varying support needs, pediatric medical and intensive care units, and inpatient psychiatric care for children and adolescents.  Michelle has also served as a supervisor of mental health services at a school for students with high-support needs and led efforts to support both students and staff In her role as a Crisis Prevention and Intervention trainer and team leader, where she specialized in preventing, de-escalating, and responding to crisis situations. Before pursuing music therapy, Michelle worked in the theatre industry in NYC and all around the US, and she spent many summers as the director of visual and performing arts programming at an overnight camp in southern Pennsylvania. She completed her graduate studies in music therapy at New York University, where she had the opportunity to train and collaborate with the Music Therapy team at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music. She is thrilled to now be back as a member of that same team!
