She is excited to return to the Board of the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music after a six-year hiatus, following the birth of her third child, and to continue supporting access to high-quality music education in her community.
Why BKCM?
“Music education serves many vital purposes. For students, it opens pathways to creativity, teaches them how to truly listen, and transforms daily practice into musical achievement and expression. For the community, it builds bridges across socioeconomic, cultural, and political divides. It also creates meaningful opportunities for musicians and music educators to share their craft and inspire the next generation. BKCM is dedicated to nurturing all of these dimensions—and I’m proud to support this essential mission.”
