Yula Beeri’s project, Song of Songs Update 0.2, sounds like a fascinating blend of ancient inspiration and modern creativity. It reimagines the lyrical beauty of the Song of Songs through a mix of electronic elements, live vocals, and instruments, creating a unique and immersive experience. Beeri, known for her work with Nanuchka, World Inferno, and Y&I Indiga (just to name a few), brings her signature style to this project, offering a fresh take on the timeless themes of love and expression.
Beeri’s professional career as a performer began at the age of 9, Performing for Shimon Peres, the President of Israel, at The School Of Arts. She went on to star in Israeli film, television, and advertising campaigns, before moving to New York City to pursue a career as a musician. In her years in New York, she has fronted major rock acts, played bass at international music festivals, founded an independent non-for-profits arts and production organization, all while pursuing an aggressive agenda as composer, arranger, music producer and new media creator. Yuli continues to expand her creative horizons, with a multitude of projects.
