Jenna Smith

MA, MT-BC
Jenna Smith is a music therapist and the Onsite Coordinator of Music Therapy at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music. Hailing from the south, she received her Bachelor’s in Music Therapy at Appalachian State University in North Carolina. She completed her clinical internship at the University of California San Francisco Psychiatric Institute and the Benioff Children’s Hospital in San Francisco. After working at the Conservator for a few years, she decided to pursue her Master’s Degree in Music Therapy at the University of Jyväskylä in Finland. Jenna returned to New York to take on the position as the Onsite Coordinator, as well as a therapist onsite working with people of all ages with developmental disabilities, and at an outreach program serving at risk elementary school children in the after-school setting. When she’s not working, you can probably catch her strumming her guitar and humming a tune. Jenna loves working with all of our wonderful families here at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music.
