Mariana Aslan is a Board Certified Music Therapist and holds a M.A. in Music Therapy from NYU. She is a Level I Nordoff-Robbins Certified Music Therapist, where she did her post-graduate training. At Nordoff-Robbins, Mariana worked with a diverse clientele, from early intervention to adults with psychiatric diagnoses, including children and adults with neurodevelopmental conditions (autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy), ADD, and post-stroke rehab. She currently works for the Conservatory at a public elementary school with children at risk. Mariana holds a degree in choral conducting and a M.M. in vocal performance, and has a large experience as a singer (classical and popular), conductor, and voice teacher. Mariana is excited to work at the Conservatory, and to be able to help people develop and grow through music.
