About the Open Stages Festival
BKCM created Open Stages to celebrate Brooklyn’s vibrant music scene while raising funds to support in-community music education and therapy to more than 7,000 New Yorkers of all ages, abilities and lived experiences at over 80 sites across the five boroughs. Last year, the fourth annual Open Stages was a resounding success, spreading positive energy and unity throughout Park Slope. The festivities included over 200 paid musicians performing in various locations such as stoops, school lots, parks, gardens and sidewalks, and over 8,000 people attended throughout the afternoon.
This year, Park Slope’s favorite music festival returns on May 10! We are currently accepting inquiries related to partnerships and sponsorships for this one-of-a-kind community event.

Supporters of the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music represent a diverse cross-section of New York City’s arts and culture enthusiasts.
