Join the Borough of Brooklyn Center for Art and Technology on June 28th at 7PM for their Jammin’ for Jobs Jazz Concert featuring a quintet led by the incredible jazz drummer, Mr. Ricky Gordon. Tickets are just $85 per person and include live music, 2 alcoholic drink tickets and light food options— all in support of BoBCAT’s mission to build careers and change lives through workforce training in our community.
BoBCAT’s mission is to educate, nurture, and sustain a well-prepared, world-class workforce in Brooklyn, New York, for the balance of the 21st Century, with the goal of eradicating chronic unemployment and underemployment within the Borough. BoBCAT’s vision is to provide Brooklyn-based, under-served individuals aged 19 and above – including unemployed youth and people who attended but did not graduate from selected local universities – with educational training (including visual arts) as well as career training which will enable them to effectively compete for high-growth jobs in high-wage sectors of a global society.
