
Grand Opening Parade
Sunday, October 11 • 10 AM-12 PM • Start at 58 7th Ave, End at 963 President Street
The Brooklyn Conservatory of Music’s new campus, BKCM Prospect Park West, is officially open! All are invited to join us for a musical parade from our brownstone at 58 7th Avenue to the corner of President St and Prospect Park West, with live music from dozens of BKCM ensembles. After the parade, everyone will have the opportunity to visit our our new campus at 963 President Street.

10:00-10:30 AM
Gather outside 58 7th Avenue & listen to live music as we prepare to parade
10:30-11:30 AM:
Parade down 7th Ave and up President St. to BKCM Prospect Park West. Groups will be slightly staggered – you can walk with the BKCM program you’re connected to, or with any group you like.
After the Parade:
Take a tour of our new campus at 963 President Street to see the space’s 13 studios, performance hall, and community space.

About BKCM Prospect Park West
A NEW CAMPUS FOR MUSIC EDUCATION & MUSIC THERAPY
BKCM’s new campus is located on Grand Army Plaza, across from Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Public Library, with an entrance at 963 President Street. It will open its doors on September 19.
BKCM Prospect Park West is home to 13 new music studios, a 1,450 sq. ft. performance hall, a large community gathering room, and the new BKCM Music Therapy Institute. With more space, we will be able to expand our music education and music therapy programs to thousands more people, both in Park Slope and across the five boroughs.
